Paving way for equality
and equity through collective
collaboration
Areteans is a social impact-focused organization that works to build awareness and collective action around social and environmental consciousness. Our goal is to create and promote sustainability in our local communities by providing young individuals with resources to reshape their lives.
We value integrity and kindness in driving a positive difference in our society. Our partnerships with community organizations allow us to understand their needs and learn how to address them — ensuring the impact we make is genuine, meaningful, and lasting. Imagine a world where everyone feels seen, heard, and understood. We’re working to make that a reality.
We at Areteans work closely with NGOs, foundations and other non-profit organizations to support education and healthcare initiatives in developing rural areas in India. Our mission is to help communities build on their strengths and resources to create sustainable initiatives and become self-reliant.
In every initiative, we strive to provide communities with an opportunity to exercise their rights with dignity and enhanced awareness. This fosters confidence in the community and enables children and women to improve their quality of life.
Creating opportunities and accessibility with Juhar Foundation
Juhar Foundation promotes inclusive development in remote and tribal villages in Odisha and Chhattisgarh by providing a platform for groups to work together toward improving education, health, livelihoods, and the environment.
Education
We have successfully funded a network of free coaching centres for students in Bottom of the Pyramid (BOP) from 10 to about 40 centres under the VSS Fellowship project.
Holistic healthcare
We support over 13 oxygen banks in Odisha, along with aiding ambulance services and generic medicine distribution camps. This has helped significantly improve the accessibility of timely healthcare.
Nurturing nursing dreams with Rural Development Trust
The Rural Development Trust (RTD) is a non-profit organization that provides access to education, health care, and economic opportunities for people living in rural areas. RTD organizes workshops and scholarship programs to help people in rural communities attend college and develop skills.
The Nursing School, which is located on the premises of the hospital in Bathalapalli, offers General Nursing courses to rural girls for better employability.
We sponsored the education of five young girls which covered their tuition, food, accommodation, books and medical aid. This initiative helps them find lucrative job offers across private and government hospitals.
Encouraging innovation schools with Young Tinker Foundation
Young Tinker Foundation formerly known as Navonmesh Prasar Foundation is a non-profit organization that fosters innovation and inventive thinking in children by bringing hands-on STEM education, skill development, and a startup ecosystem to villages across India.
Our funding has helped over 50 students attend the International Public School for Rural Innovation in 42Mouza, Cuttack and spread the rural maker-space network to several other villages.
