CASE STUDY

Enhancing Innovation Efficiency: Case Study on Product Lifecycle Management

Client is one of the world’s largest consumer goods manufacturing company, having footprints in over 190 countries and over 400 household name brands.

The PLC project is catered to manage the innovations within the annual innovation business planning cycle of Belgium and Netherlands. A business case is prepared and validated as part of this process. Once the business case is approved the products can be sold in the market.

Project Challenges

  • Unstructured Project management across innovations leading to delay in the approval of Gross Sales Value of the products, hence the products are not available to customers on agreed timelines.
  • MRDR and EAN code creation is delayed as there is no centralized system to track the business cases and initiate a Code creation.
  • Local production descriptions manually captured in Excel sheets which is causing errors in invoices and artwork, leading to multiple handovers and rework.
  • Product information and data is scattered among different files and systems.
